India invests in Wales

In a new twist to the ongoing saga of UK jobs being 'outsourced' to India, four companies from the subcontinent have announced that they are to establish operations in Wales and create 300 jobs.

The four are BPL Telecom, India's top mobile phone company, GTL Limited, a telecom infrastructure company, Infrasoft Technologies, a financial software specialist and Elan, a company that is developing a laser technology for use in heart surgery.
