It certainly wasn't in the World Cup script for France's footballing legend Zinedine Zidane to end his sporting career by being sent off in the final for headbutting an opponent.

So, asks the BBC News Magazine, how are you meant to leave the office in a way that won't be forgotten? Among the ideas suggested by readers was this gem:

I once left a pound and a half of frozen squid in the heating duct of a former manager's office on the day that I left. Maybe its impact wasn't as violent as Zidane's but it certainly was powerful!
