Too busy? Rushed off your feet? Take a few minutes out of your day and have a read of the Slow Leadership blog. Then bookmark it and visit regularly.

With posts such as "Dealing with Distractions", "Right Perspective", "Right Balance" and "Managing the Work Ethic", there are some real insights here that we could all do with learning.

"It's odd that people schedule meetings and calls, but rarely schedule time to do the major elements of their work — what they're paid to do. Still less do they schedule time for reflection, considering decision choices or developing creative ideas."

Too right!

The Slow Leadership mission is:

To help people claim the time they need to develop leadership skills and practice them enough to become proficient.

To help build businesses that last because enough time was taken to perfect their design and build the foundations right.

To help develop future generations of leaders through encouraging organizations to give time for them to learn effectively and create new visions based on their learning.
