Britain's Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) is launching a Certificate in the Psychology of Management aimed at enabling those involved in the management of people to understand employee behaviour and help them suggest alternative and practical ways of achieving change.

The programme looks at all aspects of management and calls upon the expertise of leading Chartered Occupational Psychologists with experience in training and developing managers.

The CIPD are holding an open evening for prospective students of the Certificate in the Psychology of Management, on 7 September in London.
