Depression epidemic hits Canadian women

One in five working women in Canada experience depression or anxiety according to a new national study.

It found that seven out of ten respondents said depression and anxiety was a barrier to success, compared to a quarter who found pregnancy to be a barrier.

One in 10 women said that they lost their job as a result.
