A bus company in Wales has come up with an innovative and successful scheme to ease a chronic shortage of drivers - recruiting former Ghurka soldiers.

According to the Daily Telegraph, the 2Travel bus company based in Llanelli has employed 21 Gurkha veterans and is now on the look-out for more.

Says one contented new driver: "I'm really happy in Wales. Everyone has been very friendly and it's not really that different to Nepal.
