Companies slammed for poor communications

Four of the UK's biggest companies have won the unwelcome accolade as the most incoherent communicators of their business activities and financial reporting.

Capita, the company running London's congestion charging, drugs firm Shire Pharmaceuticals, cigarette major Gallaher and oil giant Shell are the worst offenders, according to this year's Clarity Index.
