A lack of affordable child care, long working hours and overpriced clothes and toys means that Britain is the least parent-friendly country in the developed world, according to a survey from Tommy's, a babies charity.
The United States was judged to be the most parent-friendly country. Spain and France came joint second, followed by Italy, Canada, Australia, Germany and Japan.
